Am 27. Mai 1922 wurde Christopher Lee in London geboren. Er ist ein wirklicher Weltstar und jeder kennt seinen Namen.

Christopher Lee ist der Sohn eines Oberst des 60. königlichen Gewehr-Korps. Er wurde an einer privaten Schule unterrichtet. An der „Summer Fields Schule“. Nachdem er die Schule und das College abgeschlossen hatte ging Christopher als Botenjunge in London arbeiten. Im zweiten Weltkrieg diente Christopher Lee in der Royal Air Force und in anderen Spezialeinheiten. Christopher wurde für seine hervorragenden Leistungen mit dem Titel des „Flight Lieutenant“ ausgezeichnet. Christopher Lee ist seit 40 Jahren mit Gitte Kroenecke verheiratet. Einem dänischen Ex-Model. Sie lebten bereits in der Schweiz und Kalifornien, haben sich jetzt aber in Großbritannien niedergelassen.

Christopher Lee ist ein großer Fan von Tolkien. Seit über 40 Jahren. Er liest den „Herrn der Ringe“ jedes Jahr und begegnete J.R.R. Tolkien sogar einmal persönlich getroffen.

Mit der Rolle des Sarumans ging für den berühmten Christopher Lee ein Traum in Erfüllung.

Im Jahre 1947 stieg Christopher ins Filmgeschäft ein, seinen Durchbruch hatte er dann 1958 als Graf Dracula. Eine besonderheit bei seinen Filmen ist seine internationale Begabung. Er dreht in Russisch, Deutsch, Spanisch, Italienisch und Französisch. Christopher arbeitete in mehr als 250 Filmen mit.
